Long Night of the Arts
Culture, arts and literature - what else could one ask for in a single day? The Long Night of the Arts (Lange Nacht der Künste), taking place in the town of Rheinsberg, Brandenburg, for the 26th time, offers it all!
A cultural delight for the family!
A charity event organised in collaboration with the Rheinsberg Art and Culture Association in 1997 (Kunst- und Kulturverein Rheinsberg), the Long Night of the Arts begins at 1pm and runs until midnight. Traditionally taking place during the first weekend of November, the event programme includes everything from guided tours through the town, readings, exhibitions and puppet shows to film screenings, concerts and lectures.
Typically, the Long Night of the Arts also sees a number of cultural institutions host various events throughout the day and evening, to provide a pleasant cultural evening for the whole family!
This year’s edition sees around 40 events taking place in 18 different locations across Rheinsberg, including Schloss Rheinsberg, one of the most beautiful palaces in Germany, as well as the music academy, the Kurt Tucholsky Literature museum and the St Laurentius Church.
