What were Germany’s Uber customers using the app for in 2025? To go to the club and all the way…to Amsterdam?

How did people in Germany use Uber in 2025?

US transport app Uber has shared statistics about its German customers in 2025. According to the platform, the longest Uber journey was taken by someone who had plenty of money to burn and spent it on a 729-kilometre car journey from Hamburg to Amsterdam.

The second-longest Uber trip was a total of 680 kilometres from Berlin to Minderlittgen in Rhineland-Palatinate. A passenger travelling from Düsseldorf to the Danish border took the third-longest trip of the year, a total of 653 kilometres.

One user in Berlin used the app more frequently than anyone else in the country, taking an Uber for a total of 1.150 journeys over the course of the year. On average, Berliners left Uber drivers an impressive review of 4,94 stars out of 5.

Berghain and Sisyphos were the most popular Berlin destinations

According to 2018 figures, around 3 million people visit the German capital specifically for its nightlife scene every year. Figures have decreased since coronavirus and Berlin’s club scene is getting smaller due to culture cuts and unaffordable rents, but party tourists still come in their thousands every weekend.

As a result, world-famous techno club Berghain was the number one requested destination for Uber drivers in 2025, with the lesser-known club Sisyphos following in second. Another popular tourist destination, KaDeWe department store, followed in third.

In other German cities, hotels or hospitals were the most common destinations, but these locations were much less common a desired destination among Berliners or Berlin weekenders.
