SALARY: Approx. €60,000 (depending on experience)
START: TBD
LOCATION: Dusseldorf – (1–2 times per month); occasional international travel
Main Responsibilities
Responsible for providing technical support and application engineering services for industrial equipment in collaboration with customers, distributors, and internal teams.
- Consult with customers to understand requirements and propose suitable technical solutions
- Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD
- Create technical documentation, including specifications
- Perform performance calculations to ensure compliance with customer requirements and testing standards
- Coordinate product specifications with factories in Japan, the USA, and China
- Provide technical support to distributors and internal teams
- Support sales activities with technical expertise
- Assist with equipment commissioning and modifications when required
Ideal Candidate
Required
- Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or similar)
- Experience in application engineering, service engineering, or technical support
- Experience using CAD (2D/3D)
- Business-level English
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel
Desired
- German and/or French language skills
- Experience working with distributors or customer-facing roles
- Hands-on mindset and willingness to support installation when required
