Junior Category Manager - Highstreet (all genders) - Lounge by Zalando

Role: Junior Category Manager in the Highstreet Budget Category, part of a high-performing team in the Offprice segment. Responsible for branded buying, working with buying and planning teams. Responsibilities: - Own Your Portfolio: Manage portfolio, source new brands, negotiate terms, shape assortment, stay on top of trends. - Drive Growth: Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers. - Embrace Trend Analysis: Lead creative direction of assortment by researching market trends and proposing innovative ideas. - Contribute to Strategic Development: Collaborate with Category Lead to plan budgets and assortment strategies, analyze performance, provide data-driven insights. - Engage in Team Collaboration: Manage stakeholder relationships, communicate with external partners and internal teams (Logistics, Content, Fashion Store), work cross-functionally to drive sales and maximize profit. Qualifications: - Minimum 1-2 years of buying experience in the fashion industry. - Excellent analytical skills, knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel and formulas), passion for numbers with fashion and trends. - Strong negotiation skills, compelling communication with suppliers and stakeholders. - Quick thinking, proactive attitude, able to work in fast-paced environment, collaborative and independent. - Excellent written and spoken English; German, Italian, and/or French is a plus.
