Cycling World is a show for every sort of cyclist, from the parent who wants to tow toddlers in a trailer to the competitive triathlete. The historic industrial complex of Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf, now converted into exhibition space and units for business, retains a steam-punk vibe and is an appropriate venue for the latest in hi-tech bike design.

Bikes for all

As the weather improves and the summer cycling season approaches, Cycling World offers visitors the chance to explore and test out the latest bike models. The exhibition is divided into six sections.

For the serious competitor, the sports section will feature the latest models of mountain, race and triathlon bikes.

Elsewhere, urban commuters can test stylish and practical new designs, including cargo bikes, folding bikes, bags and accessories. E-bikes are the fastest growing bike market in Germany and will be a major feature of the exhibition, with the latest sleek designs on show and available to test out.

Cycle wear and culture

Alongside the bikes themselves, there will be plenty of stands offering all the accessories and opportunities that we associate with two-wheeled mobility. The cycling couture section will present the latest trends in bike wear, with the claim that everyone can look good on a bike, no matter their proficiency in the saddle.

Cycle touring and travel is also a growing market. From trips down the Rhine to tours of Mongolia, there will be a cycling adventure for everyone on offer at the show. Finally, the exhibition will look to the future, with experts on hand to discuss the contribution cycling can make to the quality of life in cities and to the protection of the environment.
