Special after-hours scenes at Berlin Zoo and Tierpark
The age of corona has led to many organisations modifying their services, venues and attractions in various ways. In response to coronavirus measures, this summer Berlin Zoo and Tierpark have decided to add new after-hours time-slots, to make social distancing that bit easier. This special arrangement takes place on Thursdays and Fridays from 5 pm - 9 pm until July 17.
An evening at the zoo
This means that visitors can witness animals going about their evening routines in the golden evening glow, accompanied by outdoor music, which would not normally be possible. The cafes and terraces remain open during the evening opening hours. All in all, it is guaranteed to be a pleasant evening to remember in Berlin, no matter the weather!

Berlin Zoo, which celebrated its 175th anniversary last year, has so much on offer! Visitors hoping to see the zoo's baby pandas shouldn’t be too disappointed to hear that the young panda twins Pit and Paule will be sleeping indoors after hours. The good news is that their father Jiao Qing will be there for all to see, as usual! At the Tierpark you may be lucky enough to see the young polar bear, though he is not a baby anymore!
Get your evening zoo and tierpark tickets
Only a limited number of visitors are allowed in the Berlin Zoo and Tierpark each day, but the demand is still very high. So, this is the perfect solution. Parents can have an evening out with the kids after work, to make the most of the summer evenings now that COVID-19 restrictions have gradually begun to ease.
Tickets are strictly limited and must be bought online in advance. Get your zoo tickets and Tierpark tickets online and look forward to a fun summer evening!
