[Video] Berlin's baby polar bear Hertha takes her first swim

Taking your first ever dip can be a scary thing indeed! Berlin Zoo’s most famous resident, baby polar bear Hertha, wasn’t sure what to make of the new island that appeared overnight in the pool in her enclosure in Berlin. She and her mother Tonja investigated the unknown object with great curiosity.

After some initial hesitation and with some encouragement from Tonja, Hertha finally took the plunge… and had a great time splashing around! Take a look at her drenched antics below - hands down the cutest thing we’ve seen today!
