A young girl in a small German town was found by a passerby after she snuck out of her parents’ house and slept outside her Kita to be the first there in the morning.
A four-year-old girl in the German town of Unna, North Rhine-Westphalia, was found sleeping outside her Kita at 5.20am last week by a passerby.
When police arrived outside the Kita and spoke to the child, they discovered she had left her parents’ house unnoticed at the crack of dawn in order to arrive first at the Kita. When she arrived and the doors were locked, she decided to sleep outside.
When police returned the girl to her parents’ house, they were “baffled” to find that she had left, according to German public broadcaster WDR.
The night in Unna had been one of the longest of the year, with lows of six degrees.
