Fireworks and Classical Music Open-Air
Fireworks and Classical Music Open-Air
Come and join in on one of the biggest and most colourful picnics in the entire district! Every summer, the Britzer Garden in Berlin hosts a spectacular evening filled with classical music and festive fireworks, known as the Feuerblumen und Klassik Open-Air.
Fireworks and classical music in one unforgettable evening
Picture yourself, family, children and friends, all gathered together eating a delicious picnic under the warm, summer sky in one of the city’s, if not Germany's, most beautiful parks.
A cultural highlight on the summer agenda, the Britzer Garden has been organising stunning open-air performances since 1999, bringing the best of live classical music, local food and fireworks together under a starry sky.
Symphony and sounds at Britzer Garten
Along with the motto "Musical Masked Magic," the Frankfurt Philharmonia, under the direction of Chief Conductor Juri Gilbo, will transport you to the glamorous era of royal festivities, Italian Carnival and secret love affairs.
The evening will centre around masks, costumes, and the dance of transformation: Let yourself be swept away by classical favourites: Dvořák's Carnival Overture, Rossini's Barber of Seville, Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera and Arban's Carnival of Venice.
The highlight of the evening is the impressive fireworks display, which will illuminate the night sky above the lake with colourful bursts of fire.
