Stuttgart ECLAT Festival
Explore the current trends and experiments in New Music in Germany at the annual ECLAT Festival in Stuttgart this February.
Over 40 years of musical innovation
Since being established in 1980, this unique festival has offered its stages to some of the most innovative and trendiest musicians around Europe. This year, visitors will once again get to witness experimental pieces from artists both young and old, as a grand total of 19 works are performed over five days.
ECLAT has always been dedicated to presenting innovation in music while bringing artists together through experimentation and creativity. This year, the event will go further in promoting these artists and composers and ultimately discovering new faces, tunes and styles.

Celebrating all music and musicians
All kinds of artists and music are celebrated at ECLAT, including musical theatre, chamber music and even larger-scale orchestral music. This year, festival organisers invite you to change your perspective by creating new relationships between the audience and the art in a free playing space.
A regular feature of the festival includes performances by the prize-winners of the Composition Prize of the City Of Stuttgart, as well as concerts by the SWR Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart and SWR Vokalensemble.
