The architecture of the Wilhelma acts as a picturesque backdrop for the festive light art. Covering a 2km circular track, the Christmas Garden in Stuttgart features over 1,5 million lights and is designed to surprise guests year after year. 

With something for everyone, from adults and children to couples, friends and families, the light installations and sculptures offer a real Christmassy outing. But don’t forget, the Christmas Garden Stuttgart is an open-air event, so do come dressed for all weather.

A magical winter dream comes to life in Baden-Württemberg with lights sparkling, and a matching musical accompaniment, complete with individual compositions which have been specially created for the Christmas Garden.

Let yourself be enchanted by the “cathedral of lights” as you stroll through a glittering tunnel with countless light chains. Or enter last year's favourite - the “Field of Lights” -  where thousands of light points will be activated on a large meadow to the perfectly sequenced song, creating a moving and shining photo motif.
